Intercultural seminar on Peacebuilding, Dialogue and Solidarity | 21.09.2020
On the occasion of the International Day of Peace, the International Center for Human Sciences (CISH)- UNESCO, Byblos, organized on September 21 and 22, 2020, an “Intercultural seminar on Peacebuilding, Dialogue and Solidarity” in partnership with Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung Foundation (HSF) and in collaboration with the Armenian General Benevolent Union AGBU Lebanon The seminar was launched in the presence of the ambassador of Armenia in Lebanon, H. E. Mr. Vahagn Atabékian along with a delegation from the Armenian embassy in Lebanon. In this seminar’s mission of promoting peace and dialogue in a divided Lebanese society, a series of panels were launched to work on the youth psychosocial wellbeing and the effective tools to build effective peacebuilding, dialogue, and solidarity with the participation of academic and cultural figures and lecturers from various universities in Lebanon and France. The seminar was concluded with a Musical play from Armenian folklore on the occasion of the Armenian independence day.
