On Friday February 3rd 2023, the International Center for Human Sciences (CISH) – UNESCO, Byblos organized in partnership with Hanns Seidel Stiftung a round-tables and training sessions to the officers of the military academy at the Lebanese Army entitled “Advancing innovation and achieving gender equality”.
Dr. Darina Saliba Abi Chedid – the director of CISH-UNESCO, addressed the officers in her speech, in which she focused on the CISH strategy focused on collaborating and empowering the Lebanese army. Dr. Saliba emphasized that there is a strong commitment and dedication to continue this program that started since four years.
The commander of the military academy at the Lebanese army, General Georges sakr, granted the CISH director – Dr. Darina Saliba Abi Chedid, a letter of appreciation from the Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun in which he emphasized on her efforts in solidarity with the military institution, affirming the spirit of citizenship that she possesses.
