The International Center for Human Sciences (CISH) – UNESCO Byblos, organized on April 28-29, 2023 a thematic round-tables event entitled “Environmental Transformations: Fostering sustainability in a digital era” in partnership with Hanns Seidel Foundation, and in collaboration with the Maritime Sciences and Technology Institute (MARSATI). Prominent experts and academicians discussed the newest environmental issues and their relation to digital transformations. The thematic round-tables were held at the CISH premises in Byblos, and a special site visit took place on April 29 the Maritime Sciences and Technology Institute in Batroun, where training sessions were held.
