The International Center for Human Sciences (CISH) – UNESCO Byblos, is organizing in partnership with Hanns Seidel Foundation and in collaboration with the National Center for Marine Sciences at the National Council for Scientific Research and the Maritime Sciences and Technology Institute (MARSATI) a thematic round-tables event entitled “Women Empowerment in maritime leadership: The blue humanities leading the way to sustainability”.

We are pleased to welcome you on Thursday July 13 at the CISH premises in Byblos to discuss several thematic areas: Gender perspective in Maritime security; Empowering women in marine research and women leading the way in coastal systems in Energy and Marine cultural heritage.

A sightseeing visit for the experts and training with the Lebanese Army will be held on July 14, 2023.
