On October 23, 2020, the International Center for Human Sciences represented by its Director, Dr. Darina Saliba Abi Chedid, participated in a Webinar organized by the Silk Road Programme Section at UNESCO Paris in collaboration with the UNESCO office in China and the municipality of Nanjing, entitled “Process of Peace Building through Historical Approach”.

The Webinar was moderated by Mr. John Crowley (UNESCO, Paris), and speakers from India, Kyrgyzstan, United Kingdom, and Lebanon all showcased a successful peacebuilding process in regional and international conflicts.

Dr. Darina Saliba Abi Chedid chose to discuss the case of Lebanon and Israel negotiations and mediations to demarcate their maritime borders.
