Over the course of 3 days, on June 25, 26 and 27, the International Center for Human Sciences welcomed 165 second-year Lebanese Army students-officers at CISH Center, Byblos, offering them both knowledge-based and recreational activities.
The project aimed at introducing the history of the ancient city of Byblos, as well as highlighting the importance of humanities and the role of military in protecting our identity, history and cultural heritage on a global level.
The program included a presentation and an interactive workshop in CISH premises, as well as a guided tour in the historical Byblos Citadel, followed by a lunch in the Center.
At the end of the workshop, the Commander of the military Academy Georges Hayek visited the Center and offered the Director a letter of recognition and appreciation to all her efforts on behalf of the Lebanese army Commander Joseph Aoun. Finally, Dr. Saliba offered the Military Academy Library a collection of CISH publications.
