It is a report of presentations given at the conference ” Exploring Factors Conducive to Democratic Conflict Regulation”. It is divided into four parts, presenting the panels of  the nature of conflicts in different countries of Africa as Zimbabwe, South Africa, Namibia, Nigeria and others, and also countries of South and South East Asia as Afghanistan and India. In the second part, you can find empirical findings concerning factors conducive to Democracy taking as an example Lebanon as a case study. The third and fourth parts are a comparative note by Theodor Hanf comparing Cultures and Conflicts.
