Under the Patronage and the presence of H.E. the Minister of Environment Dr. Nasser Yassin, the International Center for Human Sciences (CISH-UNESCO) – Byblos organized in partnership with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung – Rule of Law Programme Middle East and North Africa, and in collaboration with the UNESCO Chair on Environmental Law and Sustainable Development at Hamad Bin Khalifa University in Qatar, and with the Association of Environmental Law Lecturers in Middle East and North African Universities, the Regional Conference entitled “Environmental law: What does the future hold upon us? Perspectives from the Arab States Region”.
The conference was held on Wednesday September 21, 2022 at CISH premises in Byblos – Lebanon.
Legal and environmental hypotheses were discussed by the regional and international experts from Lebanon, Morocco, Qatar, Iraq, Egypt, Oman, Jordan, UAE and the United Kingdom.
A 3D cube was inaugurated on this occasion aiming at sharing awareness on Environmental Law.

برعاية وحضور معالي وزير البيئة الدكتور ناصر ياسين، نظّم المركز الدولي لعلوم الانسان – اليونسكو، بيبلوس بالشراكة مع مؤسسة كونراد أديناور – برنامج حكم القانون في الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا بالتعاون مع كرسي اليونسكو في القانون البيئي والتنمية المستدامة في جامعة بن خليفة في دولة قطر وجمعية محاضري القانون البيئي في جامعات الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا المؤتمر الاقليمي بعنوان “نظرة مستقبلية في البيئة وحكم القانون: آراء ورؤى من دول المنطقة العربية”. عقد المؤتمر يوم الأربعاء 21 أيلول 2022 في مقرّ المركز الدولي لعلوم الانسان – بيبلوس حيث ناقش خبراء من عدّة دول :مصر والمغرب وقطر والعراق وسلطنة عمان والأردن و الامارات و بريطانيا مواضيع قانونية متعلقة بالبيئة.
كما وتمّ تدشين مجسم 3D يهدف الى نشر التوعية حول القوانين البيئية.
