The phoenix rises once again. It directs its wings towards Poitiers in France, where the International Center for Human Sciences (CISH) represented by its Director, Dr. Darina Saliba Abi Chedid participated in the 30th anniversary of UNICEF’s International Convention on children’s rights, “Childrens’ Rights: Progress and challenges for tomorrow”. During the conference, Dr Saliba Abi Chedid presented CISH, its mission, activities and the importance of it being a UNESCO affiliated centre. Also, Dr. Saliba Abi Chedid explained during her intervention, the relationship between UNESCO and UNICEF and intervened on the situation of children in the Arab world generally and in Lebanon specifically. The intervention was highlighted by the film produced by 5th graders students from the Lycée Franco-Libanais Nahr Ibrahim.
